Sweden uses Central European Time. During the European winter, generally from late October to late March, Stockholm is four hours ahead of Brasília: a match at 3pm in Sweden kicks off at 11am in Brazil. During the European summer, generally from late March to late October, the difference usually falls to five hours? No: it becomes five hours, because Sweden moves its clocks forward by one hour while Brasília does not observe daylight saving time. Therefore, a match scheduled for 3pm in Stockholm starts at 10am in Brasília. Confirm the conversion close to matchday, as the clock changes take place on specific dates.
The most common Allsvenskan kick-off windows in Brazil
The Swedish fixture list usually features matches on Saturdays and Sundays, with some games on Monday evenings. Local kick-off times such as 3pm, 4.30pm and 7pm are common. For Brazilian viewers, this generally places matches between late morning and mid-afternoon. Evening matches in Sweden may kick off in the early or middle part of the afternoon in Brasília. The Swedish Cup, second tier and women’s football
